No. We only read metadata (GPS coordinates and timestamps) from your photo library. Your actual photos never leave your device and are never uploaded to our servers.

Discoveries are ranked by how close you were to another person in both space and time. Gold means you were in the same place within hours, Silver within the same neighborhood over days or weeks, and Bronze in the same region within months.

Exclusion Zones let you mark locations as private (like your home or workplace). No metadata from those areas is ever shared with groups, and other users are never told that a zone exists.

Yes. You can delete your entire account and all associated data from the app’s settings at any time. You can also export your data in JSON format before deleting. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.
